Ashley's Angels Support for Cystic Fibrosis
Ashley is a 10-year old girl living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is a genetic disease affecting 30,000 people in the United States alone. A defective gene causes the body to produce an abnormally thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections and other organ related failures. "Ashley's Angels" is a group, started by Ashley's family and friends, to raise money for the CF Foundation, a self-funded organization whose sole purpose is to research this disease, create life-prolonging medicines and ultimately find a cure. |
